1.  Are covered by an insurance policy while renting the sailboat for our cruise around the Mediterranean Sea, Corsica and Sardinia ?

Answer :
As required by law, you will be covered by an insurance policy covering all passengers, and it is already included in the price of the cruise rental. However, it isn't a problem if a passenger wishes to by an additional insurance policy.

2.  What should passengers bring with them for the sailboat cruise ?

Answer :
Everything brought with you should fit into a travel bag. Do not bring luggage that takes up too much space.

Be sure to bring a windbreaker jacket and tennis shoes or boat shoes, a sweater or sweat shirt, and everything needed for protection against the sun.

You will also be able to listen to your CDs on board the sailboat.

If you have a cell phone, it's also handy to bring a battery charger that with a 12 volt, cigarette-lighter plug. If necessary, they can also be recharged with a normal 220-volt socket charger.

It is preferable that each person brings his or her own well-fitting scuba or snorkelling mask, as well as scuba fins and snorkel. If you don't have one, you can buy them on the spot.

We will furnish:
• Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels.

3.  Suffer from seasickness. Will it be a problem for me to rent a sailboat for a cruise around the Mediterranean, Corsica and Sardinia ?

Answer :
Seasickness is more psychological than anything else. People who think they suffer from seasickness can rest easy when facing a cruise aboard the Océan.

In fact, sailing around the archipelago offers the possibility of letting the passengers slowly get used to sailing by finding sailing areas protected from the winds and currents that can provoke seasickness. Furthermore, you will eat well, rest, and cover up when necessary, all of which are primary factors in the prevention of seasickness.

4.  How is the kitchen on board the sailboat during the cruise ?

Answer :
We promise you will eat very well on our boat. Eating and feeling good are all part of the cruise. Our objective during the cruise is to allow our guests to taste local products from the mainland as well as that the sea itself has to offer us.

If you don't like seafood, it won't be a problem as seafood isn't the only item on the menu.

Alain, the skipper has a passion for seafood and cooking. He knows how to please all tastes by cooking fish, octopus and calamari according to your wishes.

5.  When will we go shopping for food during the cruise ?

Answer :
Upon arrival, you will be provided with a welcome luncheon. During the cruise, shopping for food will be possible, but the main groceries and drinks will be bought the first day.
